The Board of Directors of
Greater Richmond SCAN(Stop Child Abuse Now)
invites you to join us for a virtual presentation.

 Thursday, November 4, 2021
8:30am – 9:30am

*This event is taking place virtually this year and will be presented through a Zoom Webinar.*

Join us on November 4th to learn more about the critical role of caregivers in the lives of children, highlighting SCAN’s Circle Preschool Program and Family Support Program’s work with caregivers.

SCAN’s Circle Preschool Program (CPP) provides a unique healing environment for young children and their families. The preschool offers high-quality early childhood education and mental health treatment to children who have experienced trauma and works with their caregivers to help reduce the long-term effects of trauma.

SCAN’s Family Support Program (FSP) provides weekly treatment and education groups for families who have experienced, or are at high risk of experiencing, child abuse or neglect. The program enhances parenting skills, builds social networks, increases knowledge of child development, and makes parents aware of valuable community resources.

As a guest, you will be given the opportunity to make a donation to help children and families who have been impacted by abuse and neglect. There is no minimum or maximum amount suggested, and no obligation to give. We hope that you will be inspired by SCAN’s work and want to get involved.

With your support of SCAN, more children will have the opportunity to thrive academically,
socially and emotionally.
