Partner with SCAN and create a live and virtual pinwheel garden!
For every $25 donated, a pinwheel will be planted outside of SCAN at 103 E Grace Street, and posted on our website. These pinwheels will be dedicated to the special children in your life. As April, Child Abuse Prevention Month progresses, SCAN will be posting pictures of the garden “growing”. Follow our growing garden below to watch the difference a caring community can make in the lives of children.
The pinwheel is a happy, uplifting symbol of childhood and can be used in a number of ways to draw attention to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Pinwheels are the national symbol for child abuse prevention and the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign focuses on positive efforts to ensure that all children have the safe, stable, nurturing families they deserve.
